There are several different manufacturers of shirt vinyl around and each has stengths and weaknesses.

I personally use the Sports Film from Twill USA, it is duable and very reasonably proced $35.00 (including shipping) for 18" wide 5 yard roll.

For colors they do not carry, I use HotMark 70 from Sign Warehouse.

Others tend to use the SpectraCut and other products from Imprintables Warehouse.com and others use Thermoflex.

Take a look at those, they should give you a good start.

Multicut from jotopaper.com is my personal favorite. runs around 40.00 shipped for 20" x 5 yrd. Excellent product in my opinion. I would rank it as good if not better then thermoflex plus and about 100 times better then spectra cut II.

This is like asking which is better, Chevy or Ford. I would suggest trying several different brands and then using the one or ones you like best. As far as the cheapest, I find that the cheapest is seldom the best.
