Is there a cutter out there that can cut transfer paper? Or is there a way around this?
The GX24 will do it for around $1700. This is on my list also, but not for cutting transfer paper. I want to create transfers. After you set it up, I believe it will cut to within 1/8 inch from the design.

Why would you need a cutter to make transfers? I thought you could make plastisol transfers using a silk-screen machine? Sorry for the crazy questions or response, I am new to this this. Anyway, how do you make transfers the way you are talking about? I have customers that want shirts made and I have to outsource everything. I would like to make a shirt or two on the spot for customers without making them wait, that's why I wanted the cutter to put the design on it and then cut it but I know it wont be the best quality....

To make a sure on the spot you would neet an ink jet printer such as an Epson C88 or a DTG, direct to garment printer. With the Epson printer you could print on transfer paper and press them on the spot. You can connect the cutter and using a software program, tell the cutter to cut around your design. The DTG printer you actually put the shirt on a platen and run it through and print each shirt.
You can also do vinyl cutting on the cutter with type or other designs. You load the rolls on the cutter and run it through. This is not a printer so it will only cut. You then use your heat press to create the final product.
I use an Epson printer and press shirts as I get orders for them. Pretty simple and cost effective.
