Default First day with my Craft Robo - software confusion

Today I just received and set-up my Craft Robo Desktop Cutter.

I'm a bit confused with something.

The software that it comes with (Robo Master) doesn't seem to be the one where I can export my designs and have it trace the shape or anything like that,

I have Illustrator 9 (and just learning how to use it since I mainly use PhotoShop) and I installed the cutting master. I heard about the auto trace feature - does it do the trick if I import PSDs?

My designs are in the forms of PSDs and JPEGs (saved from the PSDs). I need to know if the Magicut software is the solution or if there's still a way for me to get this job done on Illustrator.

Thanks in advance!

You have to import the design you want to use & then trace it yourself using
the polyline tool or one of the other tools.

Thanks for the tip

I figured out Illustrator and its auto trace tool as I'm using the Cutting Master plugin. I still wonder if the Magicut software is better as far as tracing designs are concerned...

i use a craft robo for some smaller jobs, be aware thoug that when cutting larger designs out dont have anything else running on your PC at the same time, it seems to occasionaly try and restart itself, stalling what its currently doing, wasted so much flock with that little "feature". not just me either if you check some of the other craft robo forums, good cheap machine but a little tricky to use.
