I am looking to buy a A4 max, plotter cutter to start off with, as i am a complete novice to this and normally sub out printing to a screen company. I am working to a tight budget but obviously want a product that can cope with very light commercial production, and is fairly easy to use.I have just purchased a digi heat press ( clam ) to get me started. but will progress later as i have read the advice given hear.
Any advice on all aspects of getting started would be greatly appreciated.

The best way to learn is to search the forums for what you want to know. You will find a massive amount of information. There is way too much that you need to know for one person to list it all. If you are going to be doing heat pressing, search for ... printers,ink,paper,ect. ect. You will find more information geared for what you want to know that way. I read for days when I first found the forums and learned a huge amount about heat pressing prior to asking my first question. I like to have some idea about what I'm asking so as to sort out what I could use and couldn't use.
