How is this done???? Vinyl Cutter Name and Number - PICTURE ATTATCHED!
Anybody know how this could be accomplished on the same sheet? I'm still waiting to receive my vinyl cutter that i ordered yesterday and was wondering how to do multilpe color names and numbers on the same sheets....was this done with a vinyl cutter? (Please see pic)

It looks like it is printed then cut.. like persay on a roland versa camm.. One of the big hints is that it is not reversed liike the regular t-shirt vinyl is.. YOu would need a transfer tape to transfer this to your shirt..
Re: How is this done???? Vinyl Cutter Name and Number - PICTURE ATTATCHED!
Actually I think it is reversed and in the press position. With a vinyl cutter you will do it in two colors and do an overlay during press time. I am wondering why each individual letter is cut out? You will probably want to keep the letters together and you can arch them or keep them straight within the design program. You wont be able to do it on a single sheet unless you have a print and cut system. Two color overlays are quite simple so dont sweat it.

Can you do an "overlay" (not sure what that means) and press the 2 sheets together to overlap them before pressing, or would you press 1 on the shirt first, peel it, then arrange the second color ontop of the already pressed vinyl color and press it again overtop of the vinyl that's already been pressed down?
Re: How is this done???? Vinyl Cutter Name and Number - PICTURE ATTATCHED!
I believe if you cut them yourself you would press one at a time. Possible you can use spray tack to hold the two together and press at one time yet i would test before running a job this way.

Are they plastisol transfers? (2 color screen printing)
Have you tried to pull one of the letters apart before pressing?
If it is plastisol, it would be bonded together. If it is vinyl, you would have two sheets.

A little known fact is that most of the heat applied film is produced face up. It is then rolled on to a carrier film so that it becomes face down so that we can cut it. The face-up film is used when you want to dome the film in a similar format as an adhesive back vinyl that is used on signs, cars, boats,...
It could be done several of ways and not sure the picture gives you enough information to do anything but guess. You can do an inset / offset film to have just a small portion of the film overlap the two colors. It gives a better hand and look in my opinion. You can also completely overlap two pieces of vinyl as well, but the total design can be pretty heavy depending on the type of garment (i.e. t-shirt).

If it's vinly, you would have to press two times, otherwise the carrires would be stuck together and it would not come apart when pulling off. The only way you could press at the same time would be to remove one set from the original carrier and place them on the other one.

Nope...you cant press the two sheets together before the shirt press. With vinyl you would press the red at a reduced time and peel, then the white on top at the optimum time press and peel.
