Hi, if anybody does window decals what brand of vinyl are you using and what grade do you use?? Also what are the most popular colors?? What distributor has the best deals?? and best service.
We use sign vinyl, although we dont make decals to much for cars.I think we use avery
vinyl, the ten year is thin and nice to work with.People seem to like the metallics And glitter.Theres vinyl that acts like chameleon coulurs,in that the colours shift as you change angles.
Depends on what kind of decals you're talking about. If car windows then we use Oracal and FDC 6 yr calendared. If window signs for business then we use Oracal 751 cast vinyl.
Also there has been alot of bad talk about Avery vinyl over at signforums.com so I stay away from it, since those guys over there are the sign professionals and if they have problems then I'm sure I would..

ditto on the avery - especially the reflective!! never again even if they paid ME.....
i've used MacTac 9800 series for the past 5 or 6 years - excellent results, good prices, NEVER a vinyl failure even under extreme weather conditions.
my distributor is mid-america laminates in the st. louis area - steve bopp is the owner and he's fast, fair and extremely knowledgeable about this industry!
