The above threads are not necessarily definitive - the current "which cutter" thread is more of a placeholder for example, I'm sure there are other great threads on the topic. So if you have better threads that answer the above questions, feel free to post those too.
We want a few of the best threads on each topic, so when better examples are found we can replace the weaker ones with those.

im sure i put this in the wrong thread but here goes...i have an epson r1800 and the work that i print on the jetpro softstretch does not come out as bright and as vivid as i would like can anyone help me i have also heard that the epson r1800 is just not the right printer for the job is that where my problem leis

HI- im super new to the plotter idea but very excited about it! ive already got my t-shirt press and have been doing heat transfer and now want a plotter.. AND I CANT WAIT FOR SANTA lol.....
anyways, i dont know where to begin with all my questions.. all i know is it cuts graphics..
i was looking on ebay and see "compatible with ________ software" on all the ads.. ive just been using my scrapbook software and adope photo software for my heat transfers.. do i need to buy a certain software to do fancy wording/text vinyl transfers? I already have a ton of cool fonts. do i need to buy some kind of software in addition to the plotter i buy?
ive also been looking at rolls of vinyl? which is used for like car window stickers and which is good for tee shirts? what are the keywords i should use to read about here on the forum or look on ebay?
if anyone wants to be my email-pal, let me know as i have lots of questions!
