Default method for cutting 3 Color Logo

Hey y'all -

I've done very little with my vinyl cutter so far - But what I HAVE done has been only one color really.

Could you tell me the steps you would take to accomplish the attached design in vinyl?
I'm doing this on Blue shirts, so only applying the gold and white vinyl, but not sure how to go about it.

I could do the 'play with parts' text in blue if easier.

I would try this first.

Make a white shape the full size of the yellow nut. Cut the NAPA out of it.

Make the yellow and cut the 'Play...' text out of it.
Press white down first, peel, press yellow second. If you have thermal tape, use it to hold the yellow in place.

I don't think you will have registration issues with the white between pressings. If you do, you can add a point or two of thickness to the edge of the yellow to cover any peek-a-boos.

so when i cut both the white and yellow, i'll be cutting out the NAPA, or else when I lay the yellow, I'll be covering the NAPA that I cut out of the white - right?

That is correct, cut 'em both.

Actually after looking at the pic, you need to cutout where the white is with the yellow.
