Hi! I just got my gx-24 cutter but for some reason I cant cut anything over 22" I tried to adjust the settings in the property menu but no matter what I do it still won't do it. Any help is greatly appreciated thank you.

I think that machine is capable of a 22 3/8" cut, check the specs and maybe adjust the pinch rollers a little.

they normally will not cut much over 22 inches.. i think lost1 is about right.....
All cutters that i know of are this way.. the vinyl comes in 24 inch rolls .. It has to allow room on both sides for the rollers to hold it down.. Even my big roland versacamm that is 54 inches wide only really prints and cuts a bit over 52 inches..

Just the way it is..

Thank's guys for your reply. If I can't get it to cut over 22'' 3/8 wide is fine but I thought that i could cut a lot longer long ways and for some reason It just wont do it. Thank's

The width it will cut is determined by the position of the pinch rollers when you load the material.

Mine will cut 23.15" (588mm) if you slide the rollers hard left and hard right.

To cut longer designs you can rotate them in your software before you cut it. The GX-24 can cut up to 984" (82'). But the height would then be limited to the 22.9" . How to rotate it would depend on the software you are using.

To rotate your image in CutStudio:

a. Select the image.
b. From the menu bar, select Object | Properties.
c. In the Properties box, select the Size and Shape tab.
d. Set the Rotation Angle to 90 degrees (or other desired rotation value).
e. Click OK.
