Default Help!! Trouble getting image to cut studio

Beware, I am not a computer genius. I have a jpeg image I have tried opening with and importing into X3. I hit my cut studio button to send it over and nothing. I have tried importing my jpeg directly to my cut studio. It gets there and I need to rotate it and no luck. I can make it bigger but that is it. It does not give me the option for cut lines either. Very frustated. Sure it is simple. Help!

you're trying to cut what isn't there.....a jpeg has no cut lines - you'll have to vector the image - or have it done - in order to get any results from a plotter

Good evening
As stated above a cutter will not cut a jpg, you need to have vector and cut lines, with a jpg there are none.

Import the jpg into Cut Studio. Right click on the image, select Image Outline. In the Image Outline window, select Extract Contour Lines...

It will generate cut lines for the image.

Cut Studio will cut a jpg. you just need to rotate it to how you want it in your photo editing program export in the orientation you need.

Open Cut Studio on the tool bar click Import, Import your Photo and size.
Now in the top tool bar click the object drop down and select Image Outline, adjust your Density and click Extract Contour Lines, Click OK now you should be ready to cut.
