Default Cut Studio Help Quickly

I have the name ROSS to do for the back of a hoodie and they want the text curved. I can do it in illustrator, but when I pull it into cut studio it is just regular. How do I do this?

I've just started working with CutStudio, but I believe that you have to set the text to "Outlines" or "Curves" in your design program, then import it.

Yes, I tried that, but when I open cut studio from illustrator, it still comes out normal print, not curved. Do you use illustrator? If so, can you arc a name, open cut studio and it looks the same?

Ahhh! You have to select the text and "expand" the arc. You won't be able to edit the arc afterwards.

Select the text box that the arc is in.

Object>Expand appearance.

Your lettering is now a path in an arc, not text with a filter applied.

You can see the changes by turning off the preview mode.
