I am in the process of taking on a rather large t-shirt contract, for a motorcycle club, very important, as it's also my first contract, I have a graphtec 5000-60, but it doesn't like me.

I have corel 11, paint shop pro XI and even Adobe photo shop on another work station, The cutter comes with robo master pro which is good for lettering and simple shapes, I even have cut master that came with it, however I have a digital photograph of the design from the club's orrigional t-shirt, my only problem is I cannot get the cutter to recognise the imput that I am giving it.

I have traced an outline in photoshop pro, but it's not a solid line, I have traced the image in corel trace but I have no idea what to do with it, I even managed to get the cut master icons to appear in my corel community tab, but they are just dead links.

I don't want to become a dead link myself when the bikers find out that I can't do it....... PLEASE can somebody HELP, James............

Can you post an image attachment that shows the design. It may help me or someone figure out your issue. Does your cutter do cuts of basic things drawn in the cut software?

Thankyou for picking this up, Yes I can cut simple images and text, created in the software supplied, but this is basic at best, I have ( I believe ) transformed the image into a Vector image and tried to upload that into corels cut program but it crashes, 111,000 edges or somthing, not sure what that means, I can only assume it is a problem. I have tried smaller images, but nothing recognises them and I still get no cut lines.

I am so nearly there and I'm sure I'm missing something so easy but I just can't see for looking.

I would love to show a picture of what i'm tring to do but I can't upload it, it's from a 10mega pixel camera, am I tring to work with to big an image????

111,000 nodes? Holy mother of GOD. You need to reduce them. Can you save the file after you vectorize it and then delete the raster image? The file shouldn't be very large then.
