Default Come on DOWN!

Just finished a small job for some friends who are going to see a taping of The Price is Right (a long running daytime game show in the US). They're super excited. I found the show's font and was able to whip up a dozen shirts in about 2 hours.

This was the first time I used the Spectra foil. Super easy to weed and it looks pretty good. Pricey though. $50 or so for 5 yards. The girls LOVE the sparkles!

Hopefully they'll get picked and I'll have a shirt on national TV.

I used green and red Spectra Glitter Foil.

That's what I've heard. That and it's COLD in the studio. It's his last year doing it. I can't believe he's still doing that show. What's it been? 30 years? What a gig!

She's mostly recovered. Fortunately she only had a very bruised patella. I sprained my ankle a week after the show so we've both been gimped up for a while.

They look great. I think Bob Barker and **** Clark are vampires. They never age. Is Bob Barker still doing it, or is he retired?

Ok... whew!

At first, I thought you were talking about a VCR tape, and was thinking... wow! This guy needs to get a life!

I am glad I read your whole post, and understand that being their live is an entirely different matter.

Your shirts look great! Enjoy the show (The creamed corn is $.79... lol)

That's fine. But, you don't get excited about watching a VCR tape of a previous show, you don't search out the font, and you don't print t-shirts for everyone else who was excited about watching the VCR.

In my book, your situation makes you normal (especially since you sold your house down the street from Bob [at California prices], and are most likely retired on the resale value of that home... lol)

Actually it was a condo and we sold it to 2 producers.. We call them the 2 Brians.. Our condo sold in 10 years for 50 k more that we bought it for.. now 6 years later it is selling for.. drum roll... 500,000 more.. I can make my wife cry just by telling her that.. But we did move to an area that went crazy after we bought our home so now we are somewhat happy nad everything came together.. VCR Tape?

Glad to hear it... I think I have hijacked this thread long enough!

"going to a taping of.." For those of us who are not in Cali, that might refer to a VCR tape

I want to be on the show. Bob Barker is the man.

I'm doing some shirts for a friend who's aunt is going on the show in April.
