Need to Register?

This is my first post, so Gday all.

I have just purchased a Stika Machine 15 and cannot for the life of me get it to work on the MAC. I am running Illustrator CS2 and OSX Tiger. The computer can see the cutter, and the plug in is working in Illustrator. When I click on the print icon in the plugin window, a program called CutStudioOutputX opens and I get a dialog box with 2 options: Cut or Exit. When I click Cut, nothing happens

and the dialog box says Finished. The cutter does not make a sound. I am really stuck and am wondering if anyone else has encountered similar problems and worked out how to fix it. I have the crew who sold me the cutter working on it, but have not heard anything as yet. Oh, by the way, the machine does cut the sample if I hold down the power button, so all appears to be working, probably a software problem?

Any help appreciated.

Do you have a newer Mac with intel? I don't think the current drivers are compatible with the intel processors. I have a friend with the same problem and he has yet to find a solution.

If you have one of the older machines they should be able to figure it out.

I have resolved the problem - thanks. I had to download a new version of the software from Roland DG: Download Windows98/95 Seems the program that ships with the machine is not compatible with CS2.
