Default Trying to apply vinyl to cotton/spandex

Hey all

I am sure this has been asked before but i can not find the answer yet. I am trying to add print to Bella 810 pants which are 87 percent cotton and 13 percent spandex. I bought the Siser Easy Weed Extra and it is not holding to the material. I did like the instructions said which is 320 degree pre heat garment, light pressure, 10 to 15 seconds and i did 11 seconds. So this is not working and was wondering if anyone had suggestions on this or any other vinyl material that might work on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Adrian

If it's not adhering, try to press the full 15 seconds and increase pressure to medium.

The regular EasyWeed should work on that fabric. EasyWeed extra is recommended for woven nylons or fabrics that are coated with a waterproofing.

Given the spandex stretches, I'd probably use Spectra Elasticut - we've used it on bathing suits and didn't have a problem...
