mrbigjack - huh?! why would you evr print on 651 or 751? they are coated and not meant to be printed on for optimum results. If you are looking for a solvent printable oracal vinyl, I would go with either 3165RA or 3651. Any of the Orajet series vinyls will get great results. Try going to fellers.com and getting one of thier catalogs to see what is availiblew for you to print on. Make sure you get the correct profile for the media from the manufacturers website.

I hope this helps!

Steve, Sean said technically it is possible to do it. He never said to do it all the time. I have printed on Oracal 651 with no problems. I've only did it when I ran out of printable vinyl. My delivery guy told me he knows people who print all day long on 651 and they have never had problems.

You can notice a "small" difference in the prints between 651 and 3651 (which is what I mainly use), but if you get "in a pinch" it is possible to print on standard vinyl.

You cannot heat press Oracal 651 or 751. They are sign vinyls and not heat transfer vinyls.
