Default What difference does it make if the cutter has an Optic eye or not????
ok i went on ebay to bid on vinyl cutters and i looked for ones new and none said they have an optic eye. What does the optic eye do to make a vinyl cutter better than the rest???

The optic eye sees marks printed on items that you cut with the plotter. Usually used as a second step after printing onto vinyl and then cutting around the print-out. The optic eye is not needed if the only thing you are doing is cutting from software.

Mat Thank you. Thats all i wanted to know. I am using it strictly for car vinyl decals and advertising and also vinyl heat transfer.
