Default Missing piece for blade holder GX-24

I was wondering if anyone knows where to get that little magnetic piece that goes on top of the blade holder for the gx-24. It is a small circular piece that fits into the top hole. I don't think Roland sells it directly and am not sure what it is even called. It has been working without it but I think it would be better if I can replace the missing piece.

in the manual they just call it the 'pin'. i would think the dealer you bought the roland from would sell it too.

Hey, Yeah it is a pin. They may sell it seperately, but you might have to buy the blade holder.

that would suck. what piece is magnetized, the pin or the blade? if the pin isn't, you could probably go to a hardware store and find something that would fit.

The only purpose the pin serves is to push the blade of the blade holder when you want to change it.

It is normally sealed separately in the plastic packaging and it is easy to miss.

If you can't find it, just use a bent paper clip or a similar wire to push the blade out of the holder when desired.

That pin is actually what keeps the blade in the holder, You may be able to find someone who has replaced a holder that doesn't need theirs any more.

This is actually not the case. As was mentioned earlier in the thread, the only function of the pin is to push the blade out of the other side. The blade holder will work fine with no pin.
