[VELOCI-JET] Would like some feed back from owners
only about 2 weeks, my big worry is finding some great editable graphics for schools, church's, fire and ems. these are most my clients, hay if you have a flexi jet do you ever take it to a funtion and make shirts there? or is that bad to mave your equipment around?
how much longer till you get your machine? I seen the machine at harry's open house it does look good I am leaning toward purchasing it myself I just wanted to know what people are experincing before I purchase.
I too saw it at Equipment Zone's open house. Loved it and noticed the price has come down below 14K for a limited time period this month. But still want to see others before I make up my mind.
Yeah, I hear ya. I was going to by another band myself but when I checked the ink prices...I quickly realized that can be the biggest part of the puzzle.
Had the veloci jet for over a month now still have not got any good prints out. The service that the staff has given has been great,(as I talk to them daily) but still having problems printing. It seems the machine needs more set-up. (adjusting ink height, ect.) Will let ya'll know when we get it straight, but for now it's back to the drawing board.
I have been woundering how good of a graphic you need? lets say i am using corel, will any graphic that you can use here be printed on a shirt? and if so how low of detail. have no experiance with this type of detail other than the epson 4880.
These printers are WYSIWYG, your graphic resolution should be at least 300 dpi. The printer can be set up to print at a higher dpi.
DHarris, those problems should have been addressed at installation. You hold the techs hostage until they get it right before they leave, ha ha. Hopefully you can get everything in order soon. Time is money!

Not true, anything over 200 dpi at print size is simply wasting computer resources. The resolution you choose to print at will be higher, but the graphics does not need to be more than 200 dpi - with any direct to garment printer - unless you are printing on non-textiles or very fine linen/silk.
