Discussion, tips, pictures, reviews and peer to peer support for current and future owners of the Veloci-Jet DTG machine manufactured by Equipment Zone.
I will go a 1900 printer. The reason being it is a lower cost printer (minimizing cost is important in manufacturing) and it has a larger dot size - which is better for white ink printing. The difference in speed the 2400 has on just CMYK printing is not that great compared to the 18/1900 printers and has less speed when printing white ink because it has to print the white underbase at a higher resolution. Just my opinion based on my knowledge... What does everyone else think?
The Viper uses the Epson 4880 and my guess is that the Veloci-Jet uses the Epson R1900 also as the Epson 4800/R1800 are out of production

problem #1 is the hooping of the garment. getting consistant results requires some skill and a good eye. problem #2 is if the platen is removed so getting it down in the same place is a problem.
I have no experience with this printer. I do have experience with tjets, anajets, Fukotomi and now a Brother. And I have dealt with Harry and Equipment Zone very exetensively. For anyone considering this printer I can say without hesitation Harry and Equipment Zone are the best company to deal with and they DO stand behind their products...so seriously give this one a look. Now that I have a Brother, Ihave not spoken with Harry in 6 months or so, just an FYI so you know he did not ask me to say that...I only made the comment because after dealing with so many companies I really appreciate the way Harry handles us customers- A+++ all around.
