[VELOCI-JET] Need help from the Pros on Pocket T's
When Printing pocket T's I have to place a sheet of acrylic inside of shirt, if not I pick up the pocket on the back of shirt. Anyone have a better way to preform this.
I'm assuming you mean when you cure. If the press has a small enough board(or the shirt is large enough), you can "dress" the board... meaning that the front and back of the shirt are seperated by the platten of the heat-press.

actually the printer is picking up the pocket and raising the print head, so I end up with part of the print fantastic but when we get to the pocket the print will not be as clean. The only way I have been able to accomplish a great print is to put a board (acrylic) inside the shirt where the printer cannot see the pocket.

That sounds like the same problem that CAN occur when applying laser transfers to the back of pocket tees or polos, etc. You are getting an uneven surface for the print to be transferred to. What we do when printing laser transfers is to put a small pad slightly larger than the transfer inside of the shirt to give a uniform surface for the heat to be applied. It sounds like that is what the acrylic sheet is accomplishing for you. Is there any way to design your holders to be able to "slip" the shirts onto it? That is the other way that I print the laser transfers on our Hotronix transfer machine when printing medium and up sized shirts. The 16 x 20 platen is too large to do that on the Adult Small and under shirts.
