Hi Michelle
To answer your question..... well it is some what one of them questions that is very hard to answer i`m afraid.
I have been printing now for say a year, but had previous experience with it for many years in previous job, so went self enployed.
I had many reques for embroided tops and jacks ect ect, so after checking local competion i opted to buy a machine, which was a small one which cost me roughly £400.
With in the two months of useing it and making less profit to advertise and beat my competition, i noticed my orders for embroidery was growing quite fast, so i bought a newer and better maching the
Amaya Bravo for £3.450 which was a disply model as the shop had none in so got this for a special price. In the last 6 months i have had in way of orders of roughly 376 and each order was from 25 items to 350, so total is in the lower 1000`s But if i was to calc the last 6mths alone and double it volume would be at least 25000 items. Order volume will differ so it`s hard to cal that i`m afraid, but just lets say the books say the machine payed for it self with in the first three months and now the pure profit is showing a good income. Soory but cant say price but exceeds my thoughts that i would be taking in with the econemy the way it is but it has not effected me in any way or the returning customers and the books are now starting to show orders plenty every week, and now i have some contracts, even three schools and their uniforms
