Default Your bread and butter??? Uk

Im starting a printing business in the UK which will include screen printing and vinyl printing. I will be subbing embroidery. I'm trying to figure out which markets to target and my stratergy... I'm not going to focus on small business because they mainly go for embroidery, with me subbing its not worth focusing on, although if it comes i wont turn it away.
Please could anyone help me and add to this list...

VINYL -HEN,STAG,HOLIDAY,SPORTS,BARS,CLUBS,PUBS, SAFETYWEAR

SCREENPRINTING-
FESTIVALS,BANDS,FASHION, SCOUTING, SAFETYWEAR, TOURISM, EVENTS,PROMO, ORGANISATIONS...

thankyou for your help in adv!

Hi Michelle. Your list is too generic. You need to focus on specifics. For example with screenprinting you associate that with scouting? Most scout groups meet in rented halls, so they won't want signage, uniforms tend to be the order of the day, so they are unlikely to be ordering tees and as finances tend to be tight with voluntary groups, they are unlikely to have much funding available.

To survive with a print based business, you need repeat customers (with money) and you also need to figure out how you are going to find those new customers. Your customer base needs to be anyone and everybody that wants to place an order with you.

Custom UK is right - building your repeat customer base is so important if you are going to survive in the long term.
