Default Custom Printed Poly Mailers

Hi,

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I've spent the last 2 days searching the net for a uk company that can supply custom printed mailers that are biodegradable and am struggling. The only company I found have a minimum order quantity of 5000, which is way too many.

So do any of you guys use these? where do you get them done? and general cost per bag?

All help really appreciated

Cheers
Dan

5000 sounds about right to be honest.

Polybags are cheap and so they run them off the machines in huge quantities, the printing will most likely be done at manufacture and so for them to do all of the setup etc it wont be worth doing for a couple of thousand.

What i am trying to say is that if you do find someone willing to do something like 2000 you will probably end up paying more for that 2000 than you would if you went direct to the manufacturer and get 5000.

Daklapak do it but i dont know what their minimum is. Tell you the truth it's prob around 5000 too.

If you dont need that amount how about custom sticker labels? Or stencilling onto plain mailing boxes?

I'm also interested if you had any luck. I've found a few suppliers but the minimums make it impractical at this time.

Can you let us know if you found anyone?

Thanks

I'm looking in to other forms of packaging at the moment, but not come up with anything that really catches my eye yet.

The hunt continues

Depending on your business that are various cheaper alternatives.

Custom tape on a standard box, customized labels/ stickers are also a good choice.

At the moment we have not gone the custom route but i work for a packaging company so no doubt i will at some point!

i'm interested in this also. where do you guys buy your mailing bags from?

and where would i get custom printed tape? that sounds like an interesting way to customise the packaging without the commitment of ordering several thousand bags!

Lemonstre beat me to it but I received a reply from DerisoryDesigns..

Their minimum order for poly mailers is 100 pieces printed with a one color design on a 10x13 mailer. The costs (not including shipping)

100 - $115
300 - $335
500 - $560
700 - $780
1000 - $1100

Unless i've got the wrong site (your link doesn't work for me) these guys are US based, I think the OP was looking for a UK company.
