Default T-Shirt storage and shipping

I am getting ready to launch my store and would like to know what service people use to store and ship thier tees.

The first batch of tshirts will probably be shipped by hand but after that, as we increase volumes we will look to store them elsewhere in a warehouse or something and have them shipped by another company.

What are the best options for this and how does this process work? I'm not too sure about what companies provide this kind of service.

Hey,

We currently send ours royal mail 1st class. We made one of those T-shirt folders, so each shirt goes into the dispatch sack in a uniform shape. It costs 90p to post one shirt when folded properly

You will be able to find companies to post on your behalf, they are called fulfilment companies. I think most will require each shirt to be poly bagged individually, others will require barcoding etc.

So you post your t-shirt yourself? There are currently three of us and we'll be shipping ourselves initially. Hopefully we'll be able to scale upwards then we'll be looking for a fulfillment company. That for the pointer, I'll start researching some.

Are there any favourites that people use and like?
