Need to Register?

Hello Folks,

Just wondering what sizes you sell most of, I've seen some posts about this before but they tend to by US based where people are of a different size to Europe/the UK.

If I were to order 100 tees per design, what % of each size would you recommend. Was thinking

10% Small, 30% Medium, 30% Large, 20% XL, 10% XXL

I know this will also depend on the cut of the T Shirt also, just looking for a general idea.

I'm intending on selling t shirts for 16-44 year olds, mostly arty/funny based ones but aimed at a reasonably wide audience.

Any feedback as to what you sell most of would be much appreciated.

Hi Blobart,
I got into trouble on a thread the same as this on the 'dark side' of the forum, basically I called them all fatties

'nuf said.
Looking at your order percentages I think you are very close to bang-on for the U.K market! Maybe 25% Medium 35% Large would be my only adjustment.
We have also very recently started to stock a few XXL shirts, the American influence is starting to show up here too (McDonalds)

I'm not sure what the dark side of the forum is, but I can see how calling people fatties might upset some folks.

I very nearly answered you there Rodney, but it would have only achieved a ban. It's all in the facts! And if you care to view the thread you will see that I didn't call ANY Forum Members fat I simply called America a fat nation.

ive now sold 71 tees in the last 5 weeks,,,,, only 1 small ! doh! 7 medium, 36 large ! 16 xl & 17 xxl ,,,,, hope this helps,,,,,,,, by far large tho deffo most popular,,,most who think theyre a medium will go up a size just incase,,, or just incase of shrinkage,,

Just to clarify you are uk based?

What kind of blank t shirt are you selling and who to?

They seem very big sizes.

i think alot of people go bigger now,,,,thinkn that in todays sizes theyl be smaller,,,,even tho your stating chest sizes,,, either that or thiinkn of shrinkage ,, god knows

As a wholesaler we know the standard t-shirt ratio now to be 1S/5M/5L/2 Xl/ 1 2XL
Retail markets are closer to this ratio, but promotional and corporate tend to swing more to the bigger sizes.

One of the problems that I constantly see is the the US,the UK and the rest of the EU have different types of measurements.
