Default How seasonal do you find UK t shirt sales?

Have you found that sales in the UK are very seasonal for t shirts?

At the moment we are stuggling to keep up but don't want to invest loads and then it all drop off some october.

Obviously people will look towards hoodies etc but the way i see it, people always need t shirts to go underneath!?

Hi Nick,
I've only done the one winter and it was tough! But I'm hoping this year is not quiet so tough as we are now more established.
We are not leaving anything to chance though, we have started printing other things which are not seasonal.
True, people do wear t-shirts under their hoodies but are they going to pay for a 'premium' printed t-shirt when it is covered up?
One thing I do know for sure, unload those white tees! Come October you won't sell another one until next April!
Black tees will sell all year round, and if my memory serves me right (& it's been a few years!) if you drink enough you don't feel the cold!
I hopethis helps if only a little.

Phil

Thanks for the info.

Yeah we already outsell in black to white by something like 10-1. I personally prefer a lighter coloured t shirt but maybe thats just me

I can't wear black, it just doesn't look right on me (well I am pale and ginger), I prefer greys and blues.

I'm a 70's child!
