We have a question in regards to placing a polytran heat transfer on 95% polyester and 5% elastane. It seems whenever we do these it shows a spot from the pad we use under the shirt. We use the pad from the company we purchase our transfers from. The temperature is 340 for 10 seconds. If we don't use this temp the transfer will not come off. We have to use the pad because they are polo shirts with buttons. Any suggestions? Thanks.

If the transfer is on the front to one side put only that side in the press. If the transfer is going on the back feed the shirt onto the press like putting a sock on! You will only then be pressing the back section on the shirt and the buttons will be under the platten. Tricky with the smaller sizes but the bigger sizes are easier.
I'm assuming you are using a 38cm x 38cm press, if you are using a monster, ignore the above advice
