Can anybody give me a list of major retail stores that sell funky, ethic retro, hip-hop clothing in the U.K.? A store similar to Urban Outfitters.

Have you considered looking at the websites of fashion/lifestyle/"youth" magazines where you'll often find a list of advertisers and their own websites?

I'd advise getting a copy of the London version of Vice Magazine Vice Magazine: LONDON - Vice UK 3rd BIRTHDAY and cannibalising their advertisers.

also worth a look is 'SHUT Magazine' The north's answer to Vice. and
'Spunky' online clothes retailer, very popular with people I know.
