Default Shopping centres?

Ive read a few threads about people have DTG setups in Malls doing print on demand, was wondering if anyone in the UK on here is doing it?

Basically i checked out my local shopping centre (Milton Keynes) to check out how much its going to cost if i wanted a shop. £150,000 a year was the cheapest

I'm now thinking a 'barrow' might be the way to go, am going to see how much the rent is on one of those.

I've looked at shopping centres before but as you say they are mega expensive. The one in our town centre is getting more empty units by the month but the price is still the same. Some have been empty for years now, you would think some rent is better than no rent.

They have barrows and a space for temporary stalls now and again but i have never enquired.

I looked at a small shop just outside the town centre and that was £6000 a year. It just does not compare, i know there are benefits and higher footfall in the centre but just imagine how much you need to turnover just to break even!

You also have the set up costs and utilities.

Yeah, in Milton Keynes we have the large shopping centre all the big shops etc, footfall 600,000 a week, £150,000.

IN wolverton (the suburb of MK i live) we have a shopping centre, this ugly thing:

£90 a week. lol.

Hi. Two more options to consider are indoor markets, or renting part of an existing shop.
