Default Has anyone ever tried to dip dye their own shirts?

I am thinking I would like to experiment with dip dying shirts.

I have some cool ideas that i would like to try.

Has anyone ever tried to do this?

I am thinking about progressively dipping the tees smoothly over a set time to achieve the fade look.{thats been done before, its nothing new}
I also am thinking of staggered dipping to achieve cool artistic effects.

Just wondering if anyone can give me some tips on dying! {Shirts, not die-ing hahaha}

Thanks!

I just recently got into printing, but have quite a bit of experience in tie-dye. Never tried to dip dye, but maybe I can help anyway.
