Default I would like an opinion on how to tag my shirts

Hi everyone.

Ever since I started my company and started printing shirts I would have the design on the front, and then the company logo with the website URL under it printed on the right sleeve.

In my 4 years of business, I only had one return because someone didnt like that the company's URL was on the shirt.

Now that I have some stores interested in carrying my shirts I want to keep the company logo on the right sleeve, and just take off the URL. Now the question about tags.

The shirts I print on have a company tag, then the tag with the country of origin, material and size.

I'm thinking that since I'll have my company logo printed on the sleeve (without the URL under it), I'll just take off the shirt company's tag and keep the other one. My question is do any of you do anything similar to this? and to those that may not, do you think this is a good idea?

thank you in advance for your opinions and advice.

I have heard people doing that. It would look better if you replaced that label with one with your own logo. It adds value to the shirt. For some reason, when I think of a shirt with no company name on it, just size and washing instructions, it seems like a 2nd (reject).

Even if the company logo is on the sleeve, you still think the shirt "has no company name?"

or you're just saying your preference is to always see it on the tag?

if you're going to go with a logo I would personally either a) use a hang tag which is seperate from the tee...perhaps tagged onto the necktag. or b) use your own personalized woven tag stitched someplace on the shirt. I personally can't stand shirts that have url's on them -- it's like people have become walking billboards and that seems to distract from the design. if people truly like your stuff they'll either ask the person wearing your tee where they got it or try to google it. woven hangtags or regular hangtags provide an aesthetic that adds value to the shirt being worn....when you start plastering your website (and logo to some degree) all over your shirts it becomes an eyesore. you might as well print a shirt with "www.yourcompanylogo.com" on it.
