Hello first time poster on here. I'm starting a new brand and am wondering (to save money) if instead of getting all new tags, it would be legal to sew on my logo over top of the AAA logo? Obviously I'm not trying to say I manufactured the shirt but the tag has all the info I need on it, just the wrong logo so why pay more for whole new tags?
This tag ^ (The Big logo on top is what is being replaced.
It would look something like this, but probably less like it was done in two seconds in paint.
Yes, it's perfectly legal. It's your shirt. Once you buy it, you can do whatever you want to it.
There are posts where folks have heat pressed a label on top of the manufacturers label. Just understand, when you add layers like that, it can become irritating to the wearer's neck. They are more likely to cut it off entirely.
Thanks for the info, after reading around the forums I've found that it's illegal to rip the tag off and sell it without adding a new one. Or am I wrong? Because the cheapest way would definitely be to just not have a tag at all.
