Okay, I have a really good idea for a T-Shirt. I want to get my idea proposed to a company and possibly get paid for them to use my design. How do I do this?

Do you just have one design? Or an idea for several designs? What type of company are you looking to sell it to? Any major company already have professional designers doing their artwork. Actually most small t-shirt companies have professional designers doing their artwork. There are some t-shirt sites that buy designs, but the money they pay will be marginal.

I'm assuming all you have is an idea... you're not gonna be able to sell that to any companies. Even if you had an Illustrator or Photoshop file for the design, if it's just "something that is clever", no one will buy it. Companies do buy designs but they are usually very detailed illustrations like the stuff on emptees.com
