[SELLING PRINTING SERVICES] help with making business cards
I am brainstorming for clever attention getting ideas to put on my business cards. I currently do custom transfers and ready made transfers. I just purchased a cutter so I am of course new at the cutting for myself, so is it too soon to include this on my business cards? and How should I let people know I am expanding my services on a business card. I think I have about over thought all this now just spinning wheels and getting nowhere. Is anyone out there willing to share some ideas with me?
Do have a website? If you do, have your basic services on your business card, and include your web address for expanding service. This should save you money on reprinting your cards when you expand. You should be fine with your cutter, their easy to get into. If you have any ?'s give me a yell...

thanks for your response Chris. I dont have a website yet, not sure I know how to do that yet or even know how much to expect that to cost, or where to begin with it?! I expect my cutter to arrive Wed or Thur and I am so excited to get it and get started. I just recently purchased corel drawX4 and have been playing with designs to be ready for the cutter. I am going to make some brochures and flyers to hand out on my products and almost ready for the business cards. It seems that I can see where I want to go with everything, just having problems getting it from my brain to paper. lol
Why don't you make vinyl cut business card stickers? Totally unique. It doesn't matter if the person you give it to will ever stick it. You are just going for memorable.
As you cut real jobs, just fill the gaps (waste) areas with your card design. So, essentially the cards cost you nothing. And you can change and/or customize the message anytime you want.

vinyl business card stickers, awesome idea. Then I can play with the new cutter even more. What kind of vinyl is used for these and how do you apply them to the stickers and can you just apply them straight to business cards? Thanks for the suggestion and guidance, it sounds great.
And who is going to do the weeding, you or the customer???
ino, I get that you are trying to be funny, but your comment only supports why doing something different works. Yes, weeding all of these is work. Maybe a lot of work. That is why no one else does it, and exactly why azdesigns should.

good luck weeding business card size fonts. a total waste of time if you ask me. design a card have 1000 or more printed and spend your time trying to get business. if your not handing out more than a 1000 or so every few months your not handing out enough.
No one said it had to be a sticker version of a typical business card. Design something cool that requires the minimal amount of weeding. If it is something memorable, then all you need is your logo, name, and website/phone. Go for quality not quantity.
