Default Pop Unders?

Hi all,

Anyone ever try a "pop under"? I saw a company on a webmaster site advertising targeted pop unders. You know, every time someone clicks on a site in relation to your product, they find another site link underneath. Of-course we have all had this happen, and it is annoying, but there are times when I have clicked on those ads.

Thanks for your thought's!

Pop unders are just as bad as the evil "pop ups" that surfaced years ago on the internet.

You wouldn't want your company associated with that type of advertising and you wouldn't want your website showing that type of advertising. In many web surfers minds, it's as bad as email spam.

But that's just my personal opinion

What Rodney said, but in spades.
They are malware, their owners should be tarred & feathered.

Thanks so much...Kinda thought that was the case. I hate certain kinds of advertising, (popunders), but then just because I do, I wasn't sure what the research/opinions we're on these kind of ads.

It just isn't an honest way to behave.

I have to agree.
Would you give your credit card info to someone who did pop unders?

I wouldn't.

I think this is a good way of putting it, and obviously honesty is important in business.

A good rule of thumb is that if you feel sketchy about something, you're unlikely to be the only one
