Default Looking for a marketing and advertising partner, does this happen?

Hi,

I'm pretty new to the t-shirt business and a little overwhelmed at times with the apparent efforts required 'daily' to market my shop. I guess what my question is, are there people out there that will consistently and actively market and advertise your shop across the net and in essence partner with someone like me to grow a business?

Thanks a lot for any advice.
Ryan

Hi Ryan:

Partners for me is an ugly word. Having siad that....it is alot of work to promote your business. It's hard to expert at all the things required to get your business going.....utilizing someone elses services will cost you......and usually more than you are prepared for.

I would refer you to my post about an easy marketing plan....it's great for a new business to get going and can lead to a successful and lucrative start! Check my post in "offline marketing/sales......

As far as online help......again you can pay for services to optimize, market, emil marketing, affiliate marketing, etc etc.......just depends on what your want and willing to pay for......up front cost will add up!

If you can....finding a marketing plan of your own ...implemented by YOU will keep costs down and get you started.
Know WHO your customer is....and what THEY want!! Not what YOU like.....then target them around a marketing plan.....get the word to them.....hook em and reell em in!!

Good luck

Kirk

If you're really interested in paying for advertising I've heard Project Wonderful recommended a few times as a cheap and affordable way to start out in affiliate marketing. Could be a way to test the waters.

I think its mostly fantasy and comics sites but there are a lot of other types of advertisers too including social network resource sites and others.

Yes, there are marketing companies like that, but they usually cost a lot of money to hire.
