Greg, this is a GREAT link, I just stumbled onto this tonight. I was about to post a thread to link to it for everyone, and luckily I found yours (so not to duplicate).

The thing I REALLY liked the best about these courses is they are only about 30 Minutes each on average the site says. Perfect for a busy small business owner.


Guys, you fill out a little info they collect to keep track of who is using the info (who they are helping), and then the course is self paced. The one I started to take was the business plan, it was narrated, and veryyy easy to follow along. I was checking it out to see if it was worth linking to here. It was GREAT. You go as fast, slow, or repeat as you wish.

Some of the courses I saw listed were:
Business plan
Marketing
Retirement planning for the SBOwner
Tax and accounting
Understanding taxes
Website building
Technology 101
Winning Gov't contracts
How to prepare a loan package
Guide to starting a small biz
and MORE

Totally worth a little *click* if there's anything you want to know more about.. I know I'll be going back!

I have used this resource for years and would not be ware I am today without it. They also have a lot of courses that you can get a certification for taking, these are great when you go to get a small business loan.

Me, either. The local Small Biz Devl Center here helped me take an idea from my imagination and make it into a real business. I couldn't have had that other biz materialize without their help, and they've not left me. They offer me ongoing support. I wouldn't be without my guy, Ed. A friend of mine gave me their number and I've been amazed by their assistance ever since...

I have a mentor from the SBA and have spent countless hours planning and goal setting. This is a great service and we ( the tax payers) all pay for it. so we should use it. ..... JB
