Default adwords raising bids?????

is there some logic behind adwords raising the bids on keywords?

i setup my account a few days ago...... i have 1 campaign for my t-shirts and 2 for my architecture relatated stuff....

i had about 12,000 impressions yesterday and checked to day and i was at 1500..... so then i checked my keywords and it said that 6 of the 14 were non-active and that i had to raise the bid again......... so it went from .05 to .10 now some of them are at .40 wtf...........

maybe i'll have to rethink this here.....

If your keywords are getting disabled – or if the minimum bid keeps rising – then there is a very good chance that Google thinks your keywords are not relevant to your website/landing page.

could be....... i'll have to rethink it here....hmmmm........ considering that alot of my impressions came from what my tshirt graphics are..... then the bids raised up to 1.00....wtf....... not sure if i have to re-submit keywords for my website that match the keywords that i want to use for the campaign....

it's been years since i used adwords, but it seems like they've got live support who can talk through some of your questions with you. perhaps they might have insights that would help you revamp the keyword list. good luck!
