Default Holiday Sales have started

I noticed a huge increase in sales this weekend, I think holiday sales have started (for me at least).

How are others doing?

yep, had a look at the logs and retail is starting up, by the end of the week it will get stronger.

for custom bulk stuff, thats sort of all booked up.

this is it, make as many retail sales as you can now. This is the season/month for it.

this year, we are really aiming at using the x-mas sales to have these clients come back often thru out the year. Using insentives and rain checks promo. Have done this every year, but this year we are focused on it much harder.

hope we achieve our goals.

Based on last years sales. Weekly sales will increase each week from now until Christmas...with them going exponentially towards Christmas.

Because my business is basically a b to b (business to business) shop, my ebbs and flows are a bit differant.. my sales at some times.. have to do with quarterly budgets and tax periods.. with them either buying things to use up money before the quarter ends.. or when they first get their new purchase orders.. .. We do some personal gift jobs for our business customers this time of year too..

Last year the week between christmas and new years.. was one of our busiest.. ..

Sue, you lucky girl. Last year we were without power at the shop and the entire town and surrounding areas the week before Christmas. A main line went down in a wind storm and my holiday sales sucked!!! This year, I am so busy already don't know how I am going to get it all done.
