Re: Optimising site code for Google? somthing to do with how search engines ( in this case, Google), "read
" your site inorder to get placement in searches. I thought knowing a search engines code was like insider trading, but someone who knows what they are doing interprets the industry and can optimize your page ( the behinned the scenes stuff) to get you noticed

Re: Optimising site code for Google? Search for the "SEO" tag to the left in the search box.
It isn't too tricky. But it's also very tricky......it's complicated to do well.

If you have a CafePress store, you don't really have to do any "optimizing". They do it all for you.
It basically just means making your site as search engine/people friendly as possible.
Lots of tips can be found at google.com/webmasters and in the forums under
seo .

Re: Optimising site code for Google? It's really not that hard. Figure out what keyword or phrase you want to come up in, then have your title tag and the actual page-name (t-shirts.htm.php or whatever) and mention it a few times in your text (not too much). It also helps to use alt tags for your images.
This is a discussion about Optimising site code for Google? that was posted in the T-Shirt Marketing section of the forums.
