Hey,

I am in the beginning stages of starting my t-shirt company and wanted to know if anyone has ever created a survey to help indentify your target market, niche market, etc.

Does anyone know a good source to find the demographics on this industry?

I truly appreciate any feedback.

is that for a web store, street store, both ?


for retail chain, we would go into the mall locations and ask the pedestrian traffic some questions. This would give some idea of the walk by traffic market.


we would also do the same type of surveys at least once a year at that same location.


I think its an on going thing.

Depends on what specific industry. If you search the forums for market research or demographics, you'll probably find some info.

Other places to look would include industry magazines like impressionsmag.com and resource sites like infomat.com
