Default overnightpriting.com (i may need some help *gulp*)

i was placing an order for some business cards there and when i got to the shipping section the price to ship down here is $101. that's totally ridiculous!!!! they use UPS and i know USPS would be cheaper. i emailed them to ask if they could ship with USPS. waiting on a reply.

so my 'may need some help' thing is this. if they refuse to change shipping methods could i send the cards to someone on here and then get whoever it is to on send them to me using the cheaper method???? as drawn out as that is it will more than likely still work out cheaper for me.

ok i just got an email back. they can't use anyone else to ship due to a 'strict contract' they have with UPS. utter crap i think, nothing stopping them walking down to the local post office and dropping off my parcel.

so anyone willing to help? lol.

I have used Vista print in the past try them. I would contact a shopcloser in your area to see if they could produce what you need............. JB

Why are you ordering business cards from the US?

That is weird. Did you select overnight or something? If you are not in the US, you could try a closer place.

If you need help, let me know.

Try BCT printing in Dallas. (Business Cards Tomorrow) I've found them to be very easy to get along with.

Have you tried looking for any local printers in Australia? I'm sure there have to be several that can do the same work and save you on shipping.

Pretty much every streetcorner in the Melbourne CBD has someone who can print business cards. Even Shepparton must have options.

Or there's the company I mentioned three minutes after Brock posted the original request.

Or there's another couple of companies that were posted on past threads (Monkeylantern has previously recommended another company, I don't recall who).

There are heaps of sensible options without resorting to getting business cards shipped from the opposite side of the world.
