 Public Service Announcement 101
Hi all-
I just thought the best way to deal with overwhelming anger and frustration is to prevent the same from happening to someone else.
If there ever comes a time in your life that you need to outsource a service to another person and or company (which we all will someday)
Make for DARN sure you put in WRITING that they (the Contractor) is to provide ALL services rendered and they are by NO means to sub-contract the contract / project.
Don't trust a friendship...get it in writing.
Don't trust previous dealings...get it in writing.
EVERYTIME!!!!
Get non-disclosure / non subcontract specifics in writing....don't take it for granted that everyone is moral, ethical...even a friend. You may ask, SEVERAL TIMES..."You will provide all the work rendered?" they may answer "yes"; but....people lie.
Get something in writing you can file a lawsuit with.
Not doing so can have you feeling stupid and have ripples appear in your business's brand that only time can dissolve.
And to think, we deal with non-disclosure / private contracts on almost a daily basis....
