As retailers move toward the use of eco-friendly, reusable shopping bags, manufacturers such as London-based Supreme Creations Ltd. are expanding their business domestically. A certified ethical manufacturer, Supreme Creations was first established 10 years ago and now produces organic and Fairtrade bags, aprons and T-towels made from jute, cotton calico and other cotton blends. Its customer base ranges from supermarkets such as Tesco to fashion retailers like Topshop. The company also reminds customers that one reusable cloth bag can replace 25,000 plastic ones in a lifetime.
