The year’s kick-off trade show event will be the Long Beach Imprinted Sportswear Show, to be held Jan. 22-24, 2010. In addition to the vast array of exhibitors to visit on the show floor, ISS Long Beach offers several don’t-miss events and displays. Here’s just a sampling: # Award-Winning Decoration: The Impressions booth will showcase the 2009 winners of the prestigious Impressions Awards competition, as well as the 2010 winners of the Impressions Awards Student Decorating Competition, which honors high school screen printers and digital decorators. Stop by and see the best of the best from your peers, as well as the industry’s future entrepreneurs. # Reduced Conference Prices: Because investing in your education is critical, we’ve lowered our ISS conference pricing structure for next year, allowing you to attend these important classes for less. For example, a full-conference package in 2010 will cost just $99 pre-show and $225 on site. A single seminar can be purchased for $25 pre-show or $75 on site, and the all-day workshop fee is just $99 in advance, or $150 on site. Join the industry’s top educators for next year’s sessions, which cover screen printing, embroidery, digitizing, digital decorating and a strong emphasis on doing business in the decorated apparel market. The majority of the program is new, with several hands-on classes that let you get involved. # More Cool Stuff: Visit expert consultant Charlie Taublieb on the show floor at Charlie’s Corner, where you can try your hand at manual screen printing.
