Bucking the trend of widespread layoffs, Charles River Apparel, Sharon, Mass., a leading manufacturer of active wear for the decorated apparel market, announced Oct. 19, 2009 that the company has increased staff at its headquarters by more than 40% in recent months. The company has has added 20 new positions spanning most departments, including sales, production, embroidery, IT and customer service.
