Well thanks, that sure helps when someone can say from my experience that these transfers do NOT CRACK.

This helps overcome the bad rap/stigma Plastisol transfers have received for years.

Speaking of which...

I have yet to hear anyone besides you say they have purchased plastisol transfers that have cracked. No one has shown any picture or example of a transfer that has cracked from normal use.

Lucy, I'm sure that the possibility of cracking does exist (as it does with almost any printing method), but I think if it was really as big a problem as you seem to think, we would be hearing about it from more than one person.

There's just not enough evidence to support your theory.

well, to be honest with you I too find it extremely odd that no one here has had plastisol transfers Crack. Gee.. I can go to the local Mega-Box lowend chain store and find them there.

Someone is making them..... really, I'm not dreaming this up.

Anyway...

Rodney, if you're still looking for a West coast supplier, I found another one. No $500 minimums, either.

I'm kind of scared to post anything on this thread right now....but I have to

- for those of you who've done plastisol transfers - what is your testing process like? How many times do you wash the pressed shirt before deciding that it's good and "this is the transfer maker I'm going to go with and I can put this shirt out for sale"

thank u

Does anybody have experience with a custom transfer company that can do the whole order process online? Upload the graphic, proof the design, view the pricing sheet, pay for the order?
Rodney,

I've dealt with Janet at First-Edition as well ([email address]) myself and all of our jobs (3) have been using e-mail (with the exception of 1 phone call but it wasn't necessary).

Send her an e-mail and she will send you out a sample pack / binder with all of their samples and information.

John

Do you think this mythical Janet would be willing to post out to Oz?

Personally I strongly advise you to go the High Quality off the bat.
I would consider First-Edition as high quality and they only require a minimum order of 15 with no setup, or screen fees.

I ordered cold-peel transfers for my 100% cotton tshirts.

They worked great except on stretchy women's blouses. Another internet search took me to http://www.tdott.com/ where they have been most helpful, going as far as sending me my first sample order to my hotel in Long Beach where I was attending the ISS... BEFORE I had even paid for it! These transfers, hot peel, 4 second wonders, work very well on those pesky stretchy materials.

Highly recommend both of these companies.

Hope it helps.

gee... thanks. Here is another... BERDA.

I would also recommend StarlinePacific (Canada/USA) and Rocket (Canada). Their transfer are very good quality too. 50-100 minimums though.

Wow..that's like one shirt every 40 seconds!!! Must have been the beer!!

Seriously, were they one sided prints?? I had a 48 pc job that took me about twice that long but it was a pocket print and a back print. But, then again, I am not the Master...
