Sounds a bit like asking a car dealer if they can remember to put bolts in your car for you... "I'd like the one that doesn't fall apart please!" "Ooh, a discerning buyer!".

Lou, I'm sorry....I tried 4 more samples from FE and they came out horrible, well they didn't come out in the first place. I haven't given up on them, I'm sure it's something on my end, but for now I'm going to stop wasting shirts and time on their stuff. In the meantime tried two more of the Transfer Exress samples and they released like butter.
Here's what I wanted to mention re: samples. I noticed last night that:
FE - didn't have any Hot Peels. They were all either hot splits or cold peels.
Transfer Exress - the soft hand samples that I liked a lot were also Hot Split (not Hot peels like I thought at first).
BUT, FE's hot splits actually were working like splits (i.e. some of the ink was staying on the paper). While TExpress ones had NO ink left on the paper after pressing. So I thought that was a little strange and the fact that these companies did not produce what seems to be the most common type of transfer - Hot Peel. | |

| Re: trying to get started with plastisol transfers (getting samples?) Hot-splits split the ink. Hot-split transfers leave ink on the paper hot peels do not. Cold peels leave no ink on the paper and tend to be more glossy. | |

| Re: trying to get started with plastisol transfers (getting samples?) I know David that's what I was saying - how come then Transfer Express' hot splits were leaving no ink on the paper (yet it clearly said Hot Split on the instructions). Just curious. | |
