The Designer

This winning design was the creation of Jason from IdentityBurn. He took our theme of  "2007: The Year of the T-Shirt - a t-shirt design about the t-shirt industry" and put together this cool celebratory design with a trumpeter carrying an "Established in 2005" t-shirt banner. Below the T-ShirtForums.com site name is the "Year of the T-Shirt" text in a scrollwork banner with the year 2007 in roman numerals. Throw in a vintage effect and some creative flourishes and you've got yourself a 1st place design!

The Printing

This t-shirt design is professionally screen printed by one of our most valued forum members, Fluid. His screen printing shop, Fluid Designs in Jackson, Florida provides screen printing and embroidery services for companies large and small.

On this design they used a discharge base to remove the black pigment from the t-shirts.  By using a discharged base instead of the normal white ink base, it allows for a super soft feel to the finished print. To help achieve a soft hand, Fluid and his team used a Fashion Soft ink for the 3 pantone colors in the design.

The Garment

About the Women's 100% bamboo:
Our newest fabric, this 100% bamboo is the real deal. From its silky feel, lustrous sheen and incredible drape there is no doubt these shirts are authentic bamboo fiber. Most "100%" bamboo shirts on the market are knit from smaller gauge yarn. Our newest addition to our women's line of tops is manufactured from a thicker yarn resulting in a heavier weight fabric that still maintains the light airy feel of real bamboo. Available in size small through 2X, and in cap sleeves and long sleeves, there is a size and style to fit everyone.

The Men's sizes 3XL-5XL will be printed on Gildan Ultracotton Style 2000 t-shirts.
